DELEGATES OF THE ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC COUNTRIES (OIC) CONDUCTED A FRUITFUL VISIT TO MWRI

Collaborative meetings were held between the Delegates of the Organization of Islamic Countries and Offcials in the Ministry
of Water Resources and Irrigation in Cairo in the 18th and 19th of July the meetings focused on discussing the arrangements for
the fourth Ministerial Conference of the Ministers responsible for water which will be held during the Cairo Water Week from
October 14 to 16 2018. the book of arrangements of the fourth Ministerial Conference was signed by the both sides during the
visit. It is worth mentioning that the conference aims at strengthening the cooperation between the Islamic states in order to enhance the social and environmental aspects. Main fields of concern of the conference are capacity building, transfer of knowledge and technology among the Islamic states to provide clean potable water, sanitation services, irrigation systems, food security and disaster prevention.
