Abdelaziz areas of interest include project analysis, policy analysis, value chains analysis, agricultural planning, resources economics and sustainable development.
He worked as Senior Economic Advisor and Team Leader for an FAO project on
Agricultural Planning and Policy Analysis in Thailand from 1992 to 1994.
Also, he worked as Senior Organizational Development Specialist for the Institute of
International Education (IIE) under a USAID project in Egypt.
He carried out a number of missions as FAO consultant in Central Asia countries, Near East and North Africa countries and some European countries.
He worked as a consultant with a number of Local, Regional and International Organizations such as: Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), Arab Planning Institute (API), the International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Agro-economic Studies (CIHEAM), Friedrich Nauman Foundation in Cairo, GIZ in Cairo, Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), USAID and the World Bank.
