Dr. Nour El-Din is a Water Resources Scientist with extensive long experience in applying integrated water resources management and development in arid and semi-arid regions, water supply, rural sanitation, water resources planning, monitoring and evaluation of irrigation projects and drainage systems. His main experience is in Egypt, as well as several assignments in other countries as well through cooperation with consultants and international organizations such as FAO, UNESCO, and the World Bank.
Dr Nour El-Din worked for the EU project “support of National Water Resources Plan – 2017-2037 in Egypt as “Key Expert: Water resources” during the period Sep/2015 till May/2017. Dr. Nour El-Din’s experience is acquired through his career as a university professor and as a consultant in several water resources and irrigation projects. He used to teach undergraduate and graduate courses covering basic and advanced science for engineering students. Besides, he was appointed as director of the Environment and Climate Research Institute of the National Water Research Center, as well as supervising the Engineering department of the Environment and Research institute of Ain Shams University.
Dr Nour El-Din accomplished several technical studies for the Ministry of Water Resources & Irrigation and the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.
