This competition is hosted by the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation for the sixth consecutive year. This competition is one of the tools for promoting and awareness-raising of conserving water and improving the efficiency of its use. Accordingly, it is conducted among the most important target group- water users- who can play a key role in achieving such objectives; farmers have the most significant share of water use for the agricultural sector.
