Proceeding from the importance of encouraging enthusiasm in today’s youth about water issues this event will be held within the activities of Cairo Water Week 2021, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and will be sponsored by the European Investment Bank (EIB). High school students who have conducted water-related science projects are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to share their research. Accordingly, the event will have a competition that would provide opportunities for students to think critically and work autonomously in some instances, or to work together in teams which will contribute to strengthening collaborative and social skills. It is noteworthy that, the competition is open for students between the ages of 15 and 19 years, from STEM schools in Egypt and projects, can be carried out by an individual student or a group of students as well.
Research / applied research can be submitted in form of a research paper or in this template
Research / applied research should be submitted in one of the following topics:
Water Desalination – Smart Irrigation Systems – Water Conservation Methods – Improving Water Quality – Or topic related to the Cairo Water Week’s themes (Please check the Website for the Cairo Water Week themes).
Individual or group research can be submitted research (group research can not exceed 4 people).
Valuable financial prizes are being offered for the top five submitted research in cooperation with the European Investment Bank (EIB).
