Why attend the Cairo Water Week (CWW)?
The 2021 Conference has a number of objectives, which include the following:
- To bring into dialogue those organizations and communities concerned with water from different perspectives. There is a considerable benefit from such diverse groups working together to seek sustainable solutions arising from modern world challenges (climate change, population growth, and urban development, for example).
- To promote water awareness and foster innovative approaches to face the most pressing water-related challenges.
- To keep updated on global movements to address water challenges and identify modern tools and techniques for managing water resources.
- To bring together a diversity of communities of practice to explore opportunities for working together and with communities of interest
If my paper got accepted, Will it be published?
the accepted papers will be presented in the Cairo Water Week proceedings and published by Springer Journals.
Also, there is an exclusive opportunity to publish the most distinguished research papers in the National Water Research Center Journal “Water Science”: International publisher: Taylor & Francis.
Who can apply for the Best Graduation Project competition?
Competition is open to all students whose project falls within the scope of water sciences..
What is the format of the Cairo Water Week (CWW) Conference?
Cairo Water Week (CWW) Conference will be physical, virtual, and Hybrid (physical and virtual for some sessions).
How and when will we gain access to the virtual platform?
Once the applicant completes the registration form, the applicant will receive an email (registered email) providing a link for each session.
This link will be used to access the virtual platform.

As a speaker or moderator, do I need to register for the conference?
Only the CWW attendees are required to register for the conference.
Am I able to do a minor fix in my presentation ahead of my presentation time?
Possibly. Please email the correction to email@example.com to determine if we can incorporate the change(s).
If my session time is not suitable for my schedule, can I request to change my session date or time?
Unfortunately, session time can not be moved or changed.
Is there a recording for the virtual platform sessions?
Yes. Video playback of all sessions will be available on the Cairo Water Week YouTube channel.
What language will the CWW be in and is a translation available for non-native speakers?
Translation will be available from and to English/Arabic for specific sessions.
Is the access email link shareable?
No, the link is specific only to the registered email address.
